Parking in Nerja
In most of the coastal Mediterranean towns parking is a seasonal problem. With the influx of tourists through the prime summer months come thousands of cars all needing their own “accommodation”. In recent years as Nerja’s popularity has increased so has the difficulty in parking. Fortunately, despite being a small town Nerja has a number of large car parks to help cope with this.
There are two municipal car parks in the town, neither of which are free unfortunately, another privately owned non-free area and three free car parks, one on the northern and two on the western edges of Nerja. (Hover over the map pushpins to see the carpark names)
Municipal Car Park - Plaza de Espana
The most central of the two municipal car parks is found at the end of Calle de la Cruz. Follow this street and you’ll find yourself in the municipal car park in the center of town just a stone's throw from the Balcon de Europa and the town hall.
